dailymotiondl hosts no video. It stores no copy of any video, publishes no library, and offers nothing to search or browse. It reads a link you supply and passes the pieces of that video through to your own browser, where the file is assembled.

Where the file actually lives

Because nothing is hosted here, there is no file here to take down. A video that should not be available is hosted by Dailymotion, and removing it there removes it everywhere — including from this tool, which can only pass on what Dailymotion serves. That is almost always the faster and more complete remedy.

Reporting to us anyway

If you believe this site is being used in a way that infringes your rights, write to [email protected] and describe the problem. Please include enough to act on: who you are and what right you hold, the specific material and where it is on Dailymotion, and how to reach you.

Reports are read by a person. Deliberately false reports waste that person’s time and may carry consequences of their own.
