Guides

Written from measurements against the live service, not from guesswork. Each was checked on the date shown.

Why these three

Downloading from Dailymotion is unusual enough to be worth explaining rather than just doing. Dailymotion does not store a finished video file anywhere — it serves video as HLS, a playlist plus a long run of short pieces, which is what lets a player switch quality partway through without reloading. Anything calling itself a downloader has to collect those pieces and join them back into one file.

That single fact explains most of what people find surprising: why there is a progress readout instead of an instant file, why a long video takes longer than its length would suggest, and why a failure part-way through leaves nothing rather than something broken.

What is not here

No lists of alternative tools, no affiliate links, and no claims that could not be checked. Where a guide states a number — a resolution, a piece count, a file size — it was read off a real response from the live service on the date shown at the foot of that page.

Where something cannot be done, the guides say so plainly. A video its uploader restricted to certain countries cannot be fetched from where this site runs, and no tool can honestly promise otherwise.
